Krivit,
Dr. William M.D., P.H.D. age 80 of Arden Hills passed away at
University of Minnesota Hospital on December 8, 2005. Professor of
Pediatrics, active emeritus, at the U of M and co-founder of the
Minnesota Blood and Marrow Pediatric Transplant program. Pioneer
teacher, researcher, and world lecturer in fields related to bone
marrow transplant. He will be loved always and forever by his wife of
54 years, Chyrrel; sister Beth and husband Jerry Friedberg; sons Robert
and his wife Fran, Daniel and his wife Susan Schmidt, Michael and his
wife Sue, daughter Kim Krivit-Chase and husband Robert; and
grandchildren Illyana, Sam, Joe, & Jenna. A Memorial Celebration of
his life and career will be held at 1 PM on Saturday January 21, 2006
at the U of M Mpls. Campus Club, Coffman Union. Memorial designations
may be made to the Minnesota Medical Foundation, William Krivit
Lectureship Series (200 Oak St. S.E. Suite 300, Mpls.,MN. 55455), or a
